Description

  • Red wool-covered head for warm, sustained tones
  • Turned wooden handle, approximately 24 cm (9.5 inches) long
  • Head diameter approximately 6 cm
  • Designed for metal and crystal singing bowls

The Wool Singing Bowl Mallet features a red wool-covered head (approximately 6 cm in diameter) on a turned wooden handle, with an overall length of about 24 cm (9.5 inches). The striker is designed for playing metal and crystal singing bowls to produce sustained, resonant tones.

Wool-headed mallets are commonly used in meditation, yoga, and mindful sound practice. Strike the outer rim of a singing bowl gently to produce a bell-like tone, or glide the mallet slowly around the rim to sustain the bowl's vibration. Softer than leather or bare-wood strikers, wool heads produce a warmer, fuller sound and are often chosen for crystal and metal bowls.

Each mallet weighs approximately 300 g. Ships within our standard 1-3 business day handling window. 30-day returns apply; return shipping is handled according to our return policy.
