This round buckwheat zafu has a removable outer cotton cover and an inner liner filled with buckwheat hulls. A carry handle at the base makes the cushion easy to pick up and move between rooms, while a zipper on the inner liner gives you access to the buckwheat fill so you can add or remove hulls to adjust the height and firmness. Each cushion measures 36 cm in diameter and 15 cm in height, weighing 2.2 kg.
A zafu supports seated meditation by elevating the hips above the knees, encouraging a forward tilt of the pelvis and an upright spine during longer sits. This cushion is suitable for meditation practice, yoga, and indoor or outdoor seating.
The cushion is available in seven solid colors: Black, Green, Purple, Burgundy, Light Gray, Sapphire Blue, and Sky Blue.

The outer cotton cover can be removed for spot cleaning or hand washing. The inner liner with buckwheat hulls should not be washed; instead, air it out occasionally to maintain freshness, and store in a dry place.
